We enjoyed lunch on Saturday. It wasn't busy yet. The service was excellent, the staff friendly , and the food was delicious. It was fresh and hot. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Dim lights and great music playing throughout. It's attached to the Riverside Antique Mall. We shopped half of the mall , stopped and ate , then shopped the other half! Such a great day!

This was the first time I ate alligator bites and I thought they tasted like chicken! The atmosphere was a nice casual experience with enough room for big parties. There wasn't too much of a wait and with the salad I ordered, I was full by the end of dinner. I would come back as the staff was nice and relatively timely with taking orders and getting us waters at the beginning of the meal. I wished that the entrees didn't take as long but with our appetizer, we didn't have to wait too long for some sort of food.

It's very dark inside and the food is heavy so don't plan on activities afterwards. It's connected to an antique store and you've likely driven by many times without noticing the restaurant.

Great good! The swamp pasta was delicious. Would order it again. And the same sauce from the pasta was used for the mahi mahi which was very well cooked. The grilled shrimp was also delicious.

Literally the biggest hidden gem in Cincinnati. Food is amazing! Service is great and the food comes out so fast. Fresh. Great portions and just simple good food. I work in a local downtown hotel and this will be my number 1 recommended place for guest traveling in.

I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to go back to Cincinnati so I can go there again. The whole place has such a fun vibe with the fun statues out front like the alligator and pelican. We were greeted immediately when we walked in by a young gentleman. he was super nice and quick to seta us in a giant booth. Our server was quick with water and taking our drink order. The menu has some great stuff on it but we were just trying to snack our way through the day so we just got raw and charbroiled oyster, fried alligator and their delicious homemade jalapeno poppers. This poppers will forever has a spot in my heart. Everything was really good! I want to go back and get an actual meal there now.

I grew up an hour from downtown New Orleans. The Swampwater Grill is the closest I've had to back-home food. The Tomahawk pork chop is the best I've had in years. Behind the bar, Brian gives excellent service and makes you feel at home. The environment is rustic with a great ambiance.

Wasn't very busy tonight which isn't normal. This place is usually packed. We were sat right away. Started out with the Swamp Juice $15, various juices and rums. A perfect blend. Worth every penny Ordered the Pulled Chicken Plate, didn't feel the portion was worth the price but the meat was fresh and juicy. Had rice and beans and baked beans for the sides. Complimented the chicken well. We ordered Bread pudding which is the best around. We were told it was comped because one of our glasses had dried food stuck to the inside of it. Will return in a few weeks.

Brandie was an amazing waitress. She helped me decide between the Tomahawk Pork Chop and Pork Butt Sandwich, we decided on the pork chop and I just saw it was a really good decision! The pork chop and the shrimp were both very well seasoned.
